Note: Bilateral camps are only organized for volunteers from a partner Organization and there is no scope to accommodate volunteers from any other country or Organization. The schedule and particulars of work usually fix up according to the bilateral agreement before the camp ahead.

Participation Fee: Equivalent of US$ 300/- per person for each camp which includes accommodation, food, internal transport and sight seeing.

Camp Code: BWCA-02/2014


Location: Camp site at Ujgram, GabtaliunderBogra district which is 265 km far from Dhaka City, situated at northern part of Bangladesh. Main transports are Train and bus service.

Accommodation: Participants need to stay at BWCA’s dormitory at Ujgram, Gabtali – Bograwith shower, moderate sanitation, electricity facilities, double deck bed, mattress & mosquito net be provided but no washing machine no hot shower.

Work: Taking part in motivational campaign on “Health & Environment”related issues at Schools and community. Taking part in plantation work and nursing toplanted trees. 5 ~ 6 hours work a day. Excursion, visiting historic places and playing games with school kids as entertainment be included as per program.

Food: Food will be provided 3 times (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) prepared by BWCA cook & participants together. They may prepare their favorite dish and recipes by their selves at any selected day for which participants need to bring their own ingredients and recipes with them.

Arrival & Meeting Point:Regarding volunteers arrival BWCA used to provide pick up service to the group and individual participant from the “Hazrat Shah Jalal International Airport” in Dhaka on arrival according to their prior flight information. Participants need to arrive at the meeting point on the first day of the camp.

Cost & Contribution: Participants need to pay by local currency equivalent to US$ 300 (Three hundred US Dollars) only per participant / per camp on arrival. Apart from the fees we welcome any sort of contribution towards development of the BWCA – VTC Project if any one wish to contribute.

Directions to Camp Site: Participant will be taken to the camp site on arrival or 2nd day of the Camp schedule after the orientation arranged by the BWCA. Therefore, participants need to arrive at the meeting point on the first day of the schedule. Accommodation in Dhaka and camp site will also be arranged by BWCA.

What to Bring: Participants are requested to bring their working clothes, shoes and any things relating to their personal use, culture / tradition or country special. You may bring souvenirs for kids which could distribute as gift for sports prize.
